At present, pressure dissolved air flotation is the most widely used method. Compared with other air flotation methods, it has the following advantages:

1. Under pressurized conditions, the solubility of air is high, and the number of bubbles used for gas flotation is large, which can ensure the effectiveness of air flotation;

2. The dissolved gas is suddenly released under reduced pressure, resulting in bubbles that are not only fine, uniformly sized, and highly dense, but also float stably with minimal disturbance to the liquid. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for solid-liquid separation of loose flocs and small particles;

3. The process and equipment are relatively simple, easy to manage and maintain.

Application scope

1. Separate fine suspended solids, algae, and flocs from ground water;

2. Recycling useful substances from industrial wastewater, such as pulp fibers and fillers in papermaking wastewater;

3. Replacing the secondary sedimentation tank, separating and concentrating residual activated sludge is particularly suitable for biochemical treatment processes that are prone to sludge expansion

4. Separate and recover suspended oil and emulsified oil from wastewater;

5. Separate and recover target substances in molecular or ionic form, such as surface active substances and metal ions.
